The LS Mecapion APD-VS02N is a 200W AC servo drive from the APD-VS series. It is the intermediate step between the 100W (VS01N) and 400W/500W models, offering a balance of compact size and higher torque for small-scale industrial automation.

Installation Tips
Spacing: Because this unit uses natural air cooling, ensure at least 10mm of space between drives if mounting multiple units in a single control panel.
Grounding: To prevent signal noise (which can cause “ghost” pulses in the encoder feedback), ensure the ground terminal is connected to a common bus bar using a short, thick wire.
Version Check: Like other Mecapion drives, check the side sticker for the firmware version. If you are replacing a unit in a synchronized axis (like a dual-drive gantry), the firmware versions should ideally match to ensure identical timing.
Support Status
This model is currently in a legacy/maintenance status. While widely available in the surplus and repair market, new installations typically utilize the LS Electric L7 Series (specifically the L7SA002B for 200W applications).
