The Hitachi SJ Series Type P1 represents the premium tier of Hitachi’s industrial inverter lineup. It is designed for high-performance applications requiring precision, instantaneous force, and efficient motor control.

Power Range:
3-Phase 200V Class: 0.4 kW to 55 kW.
3-Phase 400V Class: 0.75 kW to 315 kW.
Control Modes: Supports Induction Motors (IM) and Permanent Magnet Motors (PM). It offers sensorless vector control and closed-loop vector control.
High Frequency Output: Standard operation up to 590 Hz (metal processing) and up to 400 Hz for PM motors.
Multi-Rating Functionality: Includes triple-rating for IM motors and dual-rating for PM motors, allowing for space-saving and optimized cost based on the specific load (Light Duty vs. Normal Duty).
Key Features
Color LCD Operator: Features a multi-monitor reference screen supporting 12 languages and a real-time clock.
Enhanced Connectivity: Includes a built-in RS422 port, Micro USB port, and 24V DC control power input (standard). This allows parameter settings even when the main power is off.
Safety & Reliability: Equipped with a Safe Torque Off (STO) function for functional safety. It also features a built-in braking resistor control circuit (standard up to 37 kW).
Intelligent Monitoring: Failure diagnosis is improved through internal data storage. Users can upload data to a PC via “ProDriveNext” software for rapid troubleshooting.
Flexibility: Supports various industrial networks through optional slot-in cards (EtherCAT, Profibus, DeviceNet, etc.) and offers easy customization via EzSQ (logic programming) and EzCOM (inverter-to-inverter communication).
