The LS Mecapion APD-VS75N is the largest and most powerful model in the APD-VS series, delivering a rated output of 7.5kW (7500W). This industrial-grade drive is designed to manage high-torque demands for heavy-duty machinery, such as large CNC milling centers, massive industrial fans, heavy material handling systems, and large-scale injection molding equipment.

Wiring and Power Management
Due to the 7.5kW power draw, installation requires specific attention to power infrastructure:

Braking Resistor: At this power level, the internal regenerative capacity is rarely sufficient for stopping large loads. Connecting a high-capacity external regenerative resistor to the P and B terminals is mandatory to prevent AL-04 (Overvoltage) faults.
I/O Signal (CN1): Uses the standard 50-pin connector for high-speed pulse and direction control.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
AL-02 (Low Voltage): At 7.5kW, this drive is sensitive to voltage drops on the 3-phase line during high-acceleration cycles. Ensure your power supply transformer is adequately sized.
AL-03 (Overheat): Given the power output, any restriction in the cooling fans or dust accumulation in the heat sink will trigger this alarm quickly.
Parameter Tuning: Tuning a 7.5kW motor requires caution. The Inertia Ratio must be calculated precisely in the PC Loader software to prevent violent mechanical oscillations that can damage the machine frame.
Support & Modern Replacement
The APD-VS75N is a legacy/discontinued model. Finding new units is difficult, and most are sourced as refurbished surplus.
Modern Successor: The LS Electric L7 Series (model L7SA075B) is the contemporary 7.5kW equivalent.
